How Does the Dance Competition Work?
Our local luminaries will train for up to 10 weeks with professional dancers from the Century Ballroom. Each dancer will perfect a short dance in one of the following categories: salsa, waltz, lindy hop, swing, two-step, or tango which they will perform the evening of the event.

The couples will compete to win one of two prizes:

Ribbon The People's Choice Award –
The People's Choice Award will be presented to the couple who raises the most money through votes (people can both vote on-line before the event and at the event on March 13th.)

Ribbon The Judges Choice Award –
The Judge's Choice Award will be presented to the couple who our celebrity judges choose as the most accomplished, most personable and/or most energetic and passionate dancers.
