What's Your “Day Job”?

I'm the Founder and CEO of 4-year-old company, ZINO Society, an angel investor network that connects accredited investors with entrepreneurs seeking capital. In addition, I sit on several community boards including the YMCA, Pacific Northwest Ballet, PONCHO, Seniors Making Art, and one public company board, Pacific Continental Bank.

Have You Had Previous Dance Experience?

When I was five years old, I took tap and ballet lessons for six months. In Middle School, I took “charm school” and ballroom dancing lessons, and then in High School I performed in a jazz dance ensemble. As an adult, I've taken ballroom dancing and tango lessons, and my claim to fame is that I danced onstage at the Fifth Avenue Theatre partnered by Tommy Tune (briefly!).

Why Are You Dancing in Support of Plymouth Housing Group?

When I heard that Plymouth Housing Group was planning a charity fundraiser that wasn't just another auction, I was intrigued. This opportunity gives me a chance to dance and do something good for the community at the same time. What a win-win!

Where Will You Put Your Glitter Ball Trophy When You Win?

I would showcase it in my study alongside other volunteer awards I have received. The glitter ball trophy would definitely have the place of honor. Or, I might have to carry it around with me everywhere so I can brag about it!
